Search Engine Query Builder
Build search queries without memorizing syntax.
What you can build

Common uses
- Research and fact-checking: narrow results to trusted sites or file types.
- Recruiting: find resumes or portfolios with site and filetype filters.
- SEO research: check indexing and find content gaps.
- Finding documents: locate PDFs or slide decks on a topic.
FAQ
Why are some fields disabled when I switch engines?
Unsupported filters stay visible but disabled, so the tool never generates syntax that is likely to fail on that engine.
Which engine supports date range?
Google supports generated after and before operators. Bing and DuckDuckGo date syntax is not stable enough for this builder, so those date fields stay disabled.
Why does Bing disable URL contains?
Bing has its own URL related search behavior, but no stable public equivalent to Google's or DuckDuckGo's inurl operator for this simple builder.
Can filters be combined?
Yes. Supported filters are combined with spaces, which works like AND for these search engines.
Do I need to know search operators to use this?
No. That is the point. Pick filters from the form and the tool writes the correct syntax, such as site:, filetype:, and intitle:, for you.
Is this free and does it store my searches?
Yes, it is free with no signup. Queries are generated locally in your browser and nothing is saved or sent anywhere.
